Dream RC Schedule
This section is here to inform you on the status of the schedule in the shop. In an effort to retain privacy of the individuals involved, the schedule shows only the projects that are presently being discussed and not the names.
IDENTIFYING YOUR PLACE IN THE SCHEDULE
You will know your place because of the project name and the identifyer after the project title (pro ----). If you do not know your identifyer just give me a call or use the email function in this site under contact.
HOW THE SCHEDULE WORKS
1. New customers are put at the end of the line and we work our way down the list.
2. The projects are what is planned and the customer can elect nearly any plane once their name comes to the top of the list. It is just a reservation in the line.
3. The customer has not committed to do the plane, and will not until their name comes up and they agree to the build.
4. All prices discussed prior to the commit date are for general information only. We try to give general enough prices that there will be no surprises, but some costs are not predictable (wood is an example)
5. I will contact you 4 to 6 weeks prior to the start of the build to set things up and make agreements on what we will build and who will supply what.
6. Delays are a problem -------- If I can not continue the build because of missing items, I will simply build on another project as I will usually have more than one plane in the shop at a time. If the delay continues for 4 weeks or more, I will set it aside and I will return to it the next free date after the equipment arrives. I have limited space and holding a plane is a problem for all parties.
7. Repair work can not be scheduled and therefore I do that work while the main builds are being done. Repairs do not take long and, during flying season, the customers appreciate having the planes returned quickly.
8. I normally build on the main projects at least 30 hours per week and will often work double that time as my other schedules allow.
