The price for the plane, ready to cover and all the accessories is now lowered to 450 so let one of us know what you think of the plane. John is in Birmingham so we will have no problem delivering it to anyone in this general area. If you are out of the area, we can crate and ship as you desire.
I looked in the box and it also has the original cowling that's a 2 piece ABS that has never been put together, AS WELL AS a completed (primered already) fiberglass cowling that has the non functioning exhaust pipes coming out of it in the scale location. There is a new set of 4&1/2 inch air filled tires, (2) 1/4 scale pilots (unpainted), a set of scale non-functioning oleo struts- someone did a great job on those to make them !! A set (2)of new scale dashboards with full gauges for the PT-19, there is the 2 blue decals for the army air corps(stock from Dynaflite),a new set of windshields, lets see what else... the plane itself has a 89 inch wingspan , it has the functioning split flaps, elevator halves, ailerons, rudder already assembled but not attached yet. The plane has the built in wing fairing already.The wing has been glassed in the center joint. There is a plastic baggie with control horns, some clevises, screws, etc. There is also the plans included, but have been cut to build the plane as you could imagine, but they're there.The plane was set up for a Super Tigre Im thinking, as it has the blind nuts installed already for the ST radial mount, but could be changed out easily for a different engine setup.
It looks like pretty much all the hard work has been done , the plane would need a final sanding then it would be ready to cover after attaching the control surfaces.
He is ready to part with the plane and it is a real beauty that one of yall will love to have. I will add info as I get it, but this one will not last long so get it ON ON ON.
